Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using NullField Lab ("the Application", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.

Important: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the user) and NullField Lab. Please read them carefully.

Nature of the Application

Research Tool - Not a Medical Device

NullField Lab is a personal research and experimentation tool designed for exploring electromagnetic field compensation concepts. It is explicitly NOT:

  • A medical device
  • A therapeutic good
  • A diagnostic tool
  • A treatment for any medical condition
  • FDA-approved or medically validated
  • Intended to prevent, diagnose, treat, or cure any disease

The Application generates compensatory audio frequencies calculated from magnetometer readings for personal electromagnetic field research and experimentation purposes only.

User Responsibilities

By using NullField Lab, you acknowledge and agree that:

Personal Use Only: You will use the Application solely for personal, non-commercial research and experimentation.
Medical Disclaimer Acknowledgment: You understand that the Application is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Consult Healthcare Professionals: You will consult with qualified healthcare professionals before making any health-related decisions or if you have any medical conditions.
Proper Equipment: You will use appropriate headphones/earbuds and maintain safe volume levels to prevent hearing damage.
Age Restriction: You are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian permission to use the Application.
Assumption of Risk: You use the Application entirely at your own risk and understand the experimental nature of electromagnetic field compensation.

Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Application for medical diagnosis or treatment
  • Claim medical or therapeutic benefits from using the Application
  • Use the Application on others without their informed consent
  • Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Application
  • Use the Application for commercial purposes without permission
  • Misrepresent the capabilities or scientific validation of the Application
  • Use the Application in violation of any applicable laws or regulations

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of results
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

We make no representations or warranties regarding the effectiveness, safety, or scientific validity of electromagnetic field compensation for any purpose.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NULLFIELD LAB AND ITS CREATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Personal injury, hearing damage, or health effects
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Application
  • Reliance on any information provided by the Application
  • Any decision made based on the Application's outputs

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Application is to stop using it.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NullField Lab and its creators, contributors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the Application
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Any health consequences resulting from your use of the Application

Intellectual Property

NullField Lab and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the project creators and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Open Source: Components of the Application may be released under open source licenses. Please refer to the project repository for specific licensing information.

Audio Safety Warning

Hearing Protection

The Application generates audio tones that could potentially damage your hearing if played at excessive volumes. You are responsible for:

  • Setting safe volume levels on your device and headphones
  • Starting at low volumes and gradually adjusting
  • Taking breaks if you experience any discomfort
  • Discontinuing use if you experience ringing, pain, or hearing changes

We are not liable for any hearing damage resulting from improper volume settings.

Photosensitivity & Epilepsy Warning

While the Application primarily uses audio, certain visual elements or flashing content may be present. If you have a history of epilepsy or seizures, consult a physician before using the Application.

No Medical Claims

We make absolutely no claims regarding:

  • Health benefits or improvements
  • Treatment or prevention of any medical condition
  • Enhancement of cognitive, mental, or physical performance
  • Sleep quality improvements
  • Stress reduction or mood enhancement
  • Any therapeutic effects whatsoever

Any perceived effects are subjective and not scientifically validated. Individual results may vary. The Application is for research and experimentation purposes only.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the Application is hosted, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Application shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

You may terminate your use of the Application at any time by simply closing your browser and discontinuing use.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE APPLICATION IS A RESEARCH TOOL, NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE, AND THAT YOU USE IT ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU AGREE TO CONSULT HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS FOR ANY HEALTH-RELATED CONCERNS.
